MDC Dance and Tumbling is BACK ! We start off with our 18 month old Burberry babies through adults. We have been proudly providing high quality coaching and services throughout the United States area since 1998. What differentiates us from other programs is our ability to truly connect with our athletes and dancers while providing exceptional compassionate instruction your child need’s and deserve’s . Three times a week I make the one hour commute from our home to our committed dance company. My daughter was in need of tumbling and help with her jumps and turns. we could not however squeeze in the time to make the commute for the extra lessons. I BELONG TO A DANCE STUDIO THAT’S NOT CLOSE TO MY HOUSE OR CONVENIENT FOR PRIVATE LESSONS CAN I STILL DANCE WITH MDC AND COMPETE WITH ANOTHER STUDIO?
Yes! MDC offers technical classes/privates in every style of dance and tumbling. We understand that very dedicated dancers sometimes live further away from the studio or gym than others . Its not always easy to make the drive or simply just can’t make the class time your studio offers for technique and or specific needs. For that reason you may join MDC for those technique and conditioning needs and NOT be placed on our competitive teams. We realize you are dedicated and committed to your own home studio and Respect their policies and procedures as we do our own. Here at MDC we are happy to help you succeed in the areas you desire to master by opening our studio as your home away from home !

We work to develop technical and performance skills while inspiring creativity, building self confidence, and developing strong work ethics inside and outside of the studio / home .We believe the positive effects are endless!
OUR STORY
Modern Dance Concepts Tumbling , cheer and dance conditioning and choreography was established in 1998 by Melissa Riley . Since 2017 it has been co owned and directed By Mercedes Kennedy. In over 23 years of business MDC has touched the lives of hundreds of children, teens, and adults . We provide lessons and coaching for recreational dancers and athletes, competition Athletes and dancers for the more competitive. privates for every athlete or dancer , as well as pre-professional training for those wishing to pursue a career in the arts or industry.Some of our dancers and athletes have gone on to graduate with college dance degrees, cheer scholarships,perform for college dance or cheer teams, opened their own studios or gym and even dance with professional companies such as San Francisco Ballet, Printz Dance Project, And many more .
We remain committed to providing personalized attention. We are about our athletes and dancers , NOT our numbers. You will never feel like one of 1000 or that you are only as important as the amount of your tuition. When you become a part of our studio / gym , you become a part of our family. You will be welcomed by our staff, our dancers and athletes , and their families, whether you are taking 1 class per week or 15.
We believe it is the combination of artistry and physicality, technique and heart, that makes dance and tumbling so powerful and separates it from other sports. Dancers must become athletes AND artists. We work to provide a well-rounded education that develops the technical skills and performance qualities, and focuses on keeping kids kids. Our classes, curriculum, performances, and costumes / practice wear promise to be family-friendly and always age-appropriate.

This is one of our most popular services available. It’s made a big difference for many of our customers, and is provided with the highest level of excellence. With this service, we ensure all details are simple, seamless and handled in a timely manner. Whenever you work with Mdc tumbling and Dance, you can trust that you’re in great hands.
-Student Drop Off-Dancers cannot be dropped off more than 15 minutes before class time.
If a dancer has a private lesson and has longer than 15 minutes to wait for class the dancer must stay with the teacher.
All dancers must be picked up within 10 minutes of their last class. A $10 late fee will be charged for every 10 minutes that a dancer is not picked up.
All dancers must be picked up or take a class if a break is longer than 30 minutes unless otherwise arranged with the administration.

-Attendance/ Tardiness-Attendance will be monitored each month. We encourage consistent attendance as this promotes a strong work ethic and will give each dancer the best Success
Dancers arriving 10 minutes late to any class will not be permitted to attend that particular class, no matter the reason. We understand that “things” may happen, but we will stick strongly to this rule, as tardiness tends to disrupt the class. Any dancer that is not allowed into class due to tardiness is more than welcome to make-up that particular class.Make- Up PolicyMissed classes due to studio closures, illness and other reasons can be made up within one month of the missed class. Dancers must be enrolled in the same amount of classes in the month missed in order to make-up the classes. Dancers cannot drop classes and then use make-ups to take the dropped classes.Dropping ClassesAny dancer that drops all classes must give a 30-day notice to drop. If a dancer is outside of the 30-day drop time he/she will still be charged the full month’s tuition. If a dancer chooses to re-enroll after dropping all classes there will be an additional re-registration fee of $30
EtiquetteStudents are expected to arrive to class on time, in proper attire. If a student is continuously tardy, he/she may be asked to change classes to a more convenient time.
Students arriving ten minutes late to class will not be permitted to attend that particular class.
For liability purposes, parents are not allowed in the facility at this time.NOTE: Class size is generally limited to 10-20 students depending on age. If a class has reached capacity, a waiting list will be started.

TUITION
1 Class per Week$65/ monthEach Additional Class$45/month
Rates for 45-60 min. classes
30 Minute Class: $45 a month. Each additional 30 minute class: $35 a month
75 Minute Class: add $20 to your base tuition. (Unless dancer is on unlimited)
90 Minute Class: add $30 to your base tuition. (unless dancer is on unlimited)
Unlimited Classes/ $360 a month
Unlimited for each additional sibling /$220 a month
$35 Annual Registration Fee Per Dancer
Sibling Discount is $20 off your monthly tuition for each additional child after the 1st enrolled
For training privates $45 for 30 minutes
$90 for 60 minutes. Discount will apply when paid monthly to guarantee weekly spot.
